Protesters plan for Super Bowl week demonstrations

- Protesters are planning to make their presence known at Super Bowl City in San Francisco next week.

Protests are planning to cover a wide variety of social issues including African American rights, immigration and homelessness.

According to the SFGate, demonstrations will begin Saturday, and will continue throughout the week.

According to the report, a march will take place Saturday in protest of the deadly police shooting of Mario Woods. Protesters will gather in Union Square and march to Super Bowl City.

A housing rights protest is scheduled for Wednesday.

According to Occupy Oakland, the protest will demand immediate housing for the city's un-housed residents. The group will meet at Sinbads next to the Ferry Building at 4:30 p.m. They will then proceed to set up a tent city next to Super Bowl City.

On Thursday there will be a protest against the Trans-Pacific Partnership. It will begin at noon outside Senator Dianne Feinstein's office at 1 Post Street.

The protests are expected to create additional traffic woes during an already chaotic week on the streets.
